Rich Walker, chief engineer at the London-based Shadow Robotics points out that “Some of the best roboticists working in the UK today come from an arts and music, rather than a pure science, background ……… the truly gifted roboticist is usually better able to show us examples of what he’s built and why than talk endlessly about robotics theory” .
