Release the new IRobot Looj at one end of the gutter and it burrows its way through leaves and other debris, knocking it out and to the ground. Sounds like and interesting, practical device for an annoying task.

Mcdonald’s will collect trash from several of its restaurants in the UK as part of a pilot program to turn trash to energy. The company will deliver trash to a “state-of-the-art energy recovery facility” that will provide electricity and heating for 130 buildings. Article does not state what technologies will be used in the process.
